Sally and the Lab Technician
Article

Laura talks Rob into setting up his co-worker Sally Rogers with Laura's lab technician cousin Thomas Edson.

Plot[]

Rob and Laura discuss Sally never having been married. Rob's theory is that Sally's quick wit and matching tongue intimidate most men. Laura, on the other hand, thinks that Sally and her mild mannered cousin Thomas Edson, a lab technician, would be perfect for each other. Despite Rob thinking it a bad idea, Laura plans a dinner party for the four of them so that Sally and Thomas can meet. But true to form, Sally, during the party, can't help but make one wisecrack after another, many of those at Thomas' expense. After the fact, Sally, realizing that she didn't make a good impression, is depressed about ruining a good chance with an eligible bachelor.
